How To Measure

Measurement Guide

The Lawrence is a slim fit jacket. Getting your measurements right will help you choose the right size. To get them right, you’ll need someone to give you a hand. Click on each of the sections below for directions and diagrams.

  • The shoulder bone is the bony bit that forms the highest point of your shoulder. Measure across the top of your shoulders, across your back, from one shoulder bone to the other.

  • Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, which is usually just below your and across your nipples. Make sure the tape is parallel to the ground across your chest and back.

  • Measure around your natural waistline, which is the narrowest part of your torso between your ribcage and hips. To find your natural waistline, bend sideways - the crease that forms is your waistline. Make sure the measuring tape is snug but not too tight or too loose.

  • Sleeve length can be tough to measure correctly if you only measure the sleeve itself. Instead, put your hand on your hip so your arm is bent and measure from the centre of your back at the base of your neck, across your shoulder, and down your arm to your wrist bone.
