Repairs.

Our jackets are made to last.
But we all know accidents happen.

Made to last.

If you have a jacket that’s in need of repair or that you’ve found a quality issue with, fire an email over to repairs@barnfieldcustoms.com with the details below and we’ll get straight on to it.

  • Give us a brief description of the issue

  • A clear picture of the affected area

  • A copy of the receipt/invoice (if possible)

Once we’ve got all of the above information, our tailors will check everything out and we’ll get back to you with the best possible solution.

Where the issue’s deemed to be a fault, that’s on us. We’ll cover the work required to get your jacket back up to scratch and send it back to you free of charge.

What’s covered?

If your jacket’s been damaged by accident or has been affected by normal wear and tear, we have a repair service set up specifically to help. Wherever possible, we’ll aim to make any repairs while keeping your jacket in the same condition as when you bought it. There may be instances where this isn’t possible. In these cases, we’ll approach the repair with the same sympathetic consideration for the overall look and feel of the jacket as when we first made it for you. That’s a bit abstract so here’s an example.

Say, for instance, you fell over and tore the fabric on your right elbow. Rather than stitching it up so you had an obvious repair on that one elbow, we’ve already designed elbow patches that will, if anything, make your jacket look even better. We’ll make sure your damaged elbow is stitched up and then reinforce both sides with our predesigned patch. You’ll be the talk of the town. Once they’ve seen them, everyone will want a pair.

Either way, we won’t do anything before first consulting with you and making sure you’re happy with our approach. We can do that over email, on the phone or over a video call so that we can get to know each other better.

Because we take the time to review each option and to speak with you directly, turnaround times can be up to 8-10 weeks depending on a bunch of factors. Whatever the case, we’ll stay in touch with you all the way through the process so you know what’s going on.

Just a heads up though, we can’t save them all. If your jacket’s so damaged that there’s nothing we can do, we’ll let you know. Gently.
