Lawrence Jacket: Production Update No.2
On the 29th of April, after 4 years, 3 months and 6 days of development, our first jacket went on sale.
It took just 34 hours, 24 minutes and 16 seconds to sell out.
Given that each jacket is hand crafted in limited numbers, the process of getting from order through to delivery isn’t always plain sailing. That said, it’s incredibly important to me that our customers are kept fully informed and up to date throughout production.
Rather than keep everything behind closed doors, what follows is the second full production update email that was sent out to our first customers.
Just a quick one to let you know that everything's currently on schedule.
I've been busy speaking with suppliers and taking delivery of fabrics this week. I've also been running through the results from the size survey and catching up with some of you on Zoom.
Out of those who filled in the survey, I've caught up with 8 of you and 2 have switched over to different sizes based on our chats.
So, if we haven't caught up yet and you haven't filled in the survey - please do!
Progress update
Right now, I've taken delivery of some fabrics, some are in transit, some have been ordered from stock and others are under production. Here's where we're at as of today:

You might have spotted the QR code on the back of the hangtag in the gif above. Scanning it will take you through to a repairs page on the website.
In a nutshell, if you accidentally damage your jacket, or a part wears out over time, you'll be able to get in touch. Our tailors will assess the situation before suggesting a solution and taking care of it for you.

Right, that's it for this week. I'll hopefully catch up with more of you over the next few days to discuss sizing and I'll be in touch with more next week.
Thanks again,
Mark
