The Hampden Coat
Designed to look sharp and individually made to order in Great Britain to exacting standards of quality and durability.
The Hampden is constructed from luxury British made heavyweight 650gsm 100% melton wool and cut to a historically correct slim fit.
The inside front and side panels are lined with the same melton wool as the outer, creating 4 layers that provide exceptional warmth and protection from the elements.
Being 100% wool, it's naturally breathable, antibacterial and moisture wicking.
The back panel is silk lined, as are the sleeves which end in a recessed storm cuff constructed from thick 100% organic cotton.
The outer cuffs have been cut at an angle. A subtle designer's nod to traditional military dress uniform.

If you’re in between sizes or prefer a looser fit, go up a size.

This means anything other than careful dry cleaning will leave your jacket looking very sad.
If it needs a clean, your best bet is to use a very slightly damp cloth to spot clean any dirt or build up.
If you do need to visit a dry cleaners, we recommend heading into a GreenEarth® certified shop. GreenEarth® is a non-toxic and chemically inert solution, specifically developed to be kinder to clothes and to the environment.
